Spotless room/bathroom. Amazing breakfast spread, well worth the 18Euro or so since the city is so pricey. Super-friendly staff, always smiling, especially at breakfast and the lovely Olga at the front desk. Great location at the far end of the shopping/restaurant street. Last pickup and first dropoff for tours....Had a nice sitting room in the lobby, but not much to choose from other than bottled drinks. Wifi good. Reasonable price for the room, which was small but easy. Close to major bus station and hotel tour stop #13 for convenience for excursions.

Hotel room was quite basic but perfect for a long weekend trip where not much time was spent in the room! Good variety of options for the breakfast including tasty pastries and fry-up items! Staff were so friendly and helpful, spoke very good English and gave us their recommendations for where to go and where to eat. Plenty of free parking outside the hotel if you’re hiring a car! Visiting in the summer meant the sun is out most of the day- the blackout curtains in the room were great! Perfect location just a short walk to the main shopping street.

The room had everything I needed in a compact space -- comfortable bed and pillows, desk and chair, storage closet, easy chair, and private bathroom. The lighting was good. The staff were very helpful, even providing me with a small refrigerator, as I was isolating there for 5 days due to Covid. The breakfast buffet was great, in a spacious room so I could go down late when it was uncrowded and isolate in a corner. A good location, it was an easy walk to the waterfront and to restaurants for takeout.

This hotel was situated minutes from the main shopping street in Reykjavik, and adjacent to a bus stop for tour pick-ups and airport drop-offs. The staff were extremely helpful at all times, spoke excellent English, and the desk was attended 24/7. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast (although pricey like everything in Iceland) was superb. I would recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, friendly staff and wonderful breakfast.

Nice stay in the Center of Reykjavik. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very attentive and nice. We had a kettle and tea and coffee in the room. Even though we had a room on the first floor, it was still quiet. Bus from the bus station (if you take the bus from the airport, it first brings you to the bus station and you take another bus to the city there) stops 1 min walking distance from the hotel.
