The hotel was in an excellent location. It was extremely close to the main shopping street, but just far enough away to be in a quiet area. I got there early and asked if there was a luggage store to keep my bags, whilst waiting for the check in time. But I was told that I could check in early. There were 3 or 4 bus stops to choose from within a 5/10 minute walk away, so tours and trips were easily accessible. I'd already booked my tours, but I saw that the staff were so helpful with assisting other guests with their questions and booking trips. The breakfast was included and there was an excellent, varied choice. There were also snacks available in the reception area. The staff were friendly and approachable. They were so welcoming. The hotel itself was kept clean, comfortable and warm.

The staff couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating. Especially the breakfast staff. It was exceptionally clean and beds were very comfortable. Cute little parlor to wait for taxi’s or enjoy a break. Lots of breakfast variety, even for a vegan like me which was greatly appreciated. The rooms were a good size compared to most European rooms. Loved the wardrobe, very convenient.

Fosshotel Lind is located on a great location in the middle of Reykjavik. Just a few minutes walking and you are at the shopping streets. Rooms are not very big but big enough for a few nights. The beds are very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and there is a possibility to buy food, drinks to take with you to the room. Also, they sell postcards and stamps and have mailbox. Price/value is good.

A comfortable bed with two pillows, a peaceful hotel, in a great location. Very clean rooms, TV, hairdryer towels, with tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was excellent with a very good variety of hot and cold food, great staff, and a very clean and comfortable dining room. Bus stop 13 across the road for all pick up of tours and airport. A short walk to the centre with plenty to explore. Bars, pizza, chinese, and a 24-hour shop are local. Maps at reception. Staff were lovely and helpful at reception, and we will definitely book here again!

The city centre is in a 2 min walking distance. Bus stops are close too. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful,especially Kristijan at the reception.

Centrally located so that a 10 minute walk in either direction could place you at Harpa or the church or the main shopping street. Breakfast choices were excellent. Enjoyed having the cold case in the lobby to pick up a beer or soda without having to go to the store. Loved the area off the lobby for quiet reading or waiting for others. There is a ramp adjacent to the front stairs for those who need to wheel their luggage to the front door.

Fantastic staff especially the male receptionist! They couldn’t do enough for you and were so welcoming and attentive. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and the location of the hotel was in an excellent location, writhing close walking distance to the centre. Breakfast was good and consisted of a cooked breakfast, pastries, fruit, meats and cereals, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The direct bus to KEF airport was reasonably priced and convenient. The reception staff were very helpful booking this.

We were able to check in a little early. The room was a decent size and the beds and linens were very comfortable. The location was great. It was right on the edge of the main areas of the heart of Reykjavik, but not too close, so nice and quiet. The WiFi was free and sufficient for our needs. We really enjoyed the breakfast, with a wide variety of hot and cold options.

Fosshotel Lind was a great place to stay in Reykjavik. Its location was convenient enough to walk downtown, without being too close to the nightlife. The staff were polite and friendly, and happy to answer any questions we had. The breakfast was one of the best we have had in years!
